What's New at Sense of Coffee This Autumn
In mid-September three new dishes joined the lunch section at both Sense of Coffee in Parque das Nações and Sense of Coffee & Wine in Baixa. Like the rest of the kitchen, they are served all day, from 9:00 to 16:00. Below: the new dishes, what stays from summer, and every offer running right now.
Three new dishes
Bacalhau à Brás · €14
One of Lisbon's own dishes. The story goes that it is named after a tavern keeper called Brás in Bairro Alto. Salt cod, thin crisp potatoes and eggs, cooked together until the eggs just set.
Our chef keeps the classic and adjusts the balance: the eggs stay creamy, the cod stays tender, and a heap of shoestring potatoes keeps its crunch on top. It is finished with an egg yolk, pea shoots and a spoonful of black olive tapenade, our take on the olives that traditionally come with Brás.
What's in it: cod · shoestring potatoes · egg · onion · garlic · parsley · black olive tapenade

Raclette-Dog · €14
Raclette comes from the Alps, where the cheese is melted by the fire and scraped onto potatoes. We put the same idea in a soft brioche bun: a sausage, melted raclette, crisp pickled cucumber and shoestring potatoes on top. The sausage is your choice of pork or chicken.

Pork Cheek · €14
The most autumnal of the three. The pork cheek is cooked sous-vide for several hours, then served on a bright corn curry with a thread of herb oil and topped with blackcurrant, which brings a little sharpness against the richness.
What's in it: pork cheek · corn curry · blackcurrant · vegetables

Summer drinks are staying
Lisbon is still warm, so the cold menu is not going anywhere yet: Iced Ube latte with purple yam and vanilla, two lemonades, Passion and Green Breeze, plus espresso tonic and cold brew.
Batch brew refills for €1
Your first batch brew is the usual €3.50. Every refill after it is €1, in your own cup or ours. Weekdays from 12:00 to 16:00, at both cafés.
Coffee & Cake for €8.50
Any coffee up to €4.50 with any dessert up to €7, for €8.50. Every day from 13:00 to 16:00, at both cafés. The exact list of coffees and desserts in the set is on the menu page of Parque das Nações and Baixa.
