Sense of Coffee Is in Portugal's Top 10 Cafés Again: European Coffee Trip Awards 2026

Sense of Coffee & Wine, our café in Baixa, is among the top 10 specialty cafés in Portugal in the European Coffee Trip Awards 2026, and for Sense of Coffee this is the second year in a row. This year 30,081 people voted in the European Coffee Trip app, and cafés across Europe received 57,160 verified votes.

The European Coffee Trip Awards are held every year to recognise Europe's best specialty cafés. Guests vote in the European Coffee Trip mobile app, choosing one to three cafés per vote, and every vote has to be confirmed by email. Voting for 2026 closed on 15 October, and the top 10 for each country is published in alphabetical order.

Making the list a second time means a lot to us, because it comes straight from our guests. Thank you to everyone who downloaded the app, found us and confirmed their vote. Both of our cafés, Sense of Coffee in Parque das Nações and Sense of Coffee & Wine in Baixa, serve specialty coffee from rotating roasters next to a full brunch menu, every day from 9:00 to 16:00.

A year ago, in the European Coffee Trip Awards 2025, Sense of Coffee entered Portugal's top 10 for the first time, out of more than 22,000 confirmed votes for over 4,300 cafés in 38 countries. That first place on the list is what we set out to keep, and thanks to you, we did.
